Melissa Fenton is the Extension Educator for Click2SciencePD. Melissa holds a Master of Applied Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a specialization in leadership education and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln majoring in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. She is committed to improving the quality of afterschool programs through STEM professional development. She develops and delivers professional development, collaborates with out-of-school time (OST) partners, and provides technical assistance and consulting services for Click2SciencePD. Melissa also has experience writing and developing curricula designed for youth audiences in both formal and informal educational environments. She collaborated with faculty members, subject matter experts, and youth to develop 4-H curricular resources used by national audiences. Melissa previously served as the Nebraska 4-H Curriculum Graduate Assistant and Nebraska 4-H Youth Curriculum Committee Coordinator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
