Charles O'Connor

Chuck O’Connor is a Professor of Design for Theatre, Film, and Emerging Media Arts. He has designed sets for theaters around the country and for many of the major motion picture and television studios. He is a current member of the United Scenic Artists, Local 829 union and a former member of the Art Directors Guild Local 800. He earned a BA in Theatre from California State University, Northridge and holds an MFA from the University of Southern California. He served as dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts from 2012-2022.
