Dr. Saundra Wever Frerichs, Science Education Specialist with Nebraska 4-H Youth Development, has experience creating opportunities for out-of-school learning experiences for youth in social studies, science and engineering. This includes the development of educational programs, curriculum, learning kits, museum experiences and professional development for teachers and informal educators. Dr. Frerichs’ career has been tightly focused on informal science education and includes working with several youth development organizations and museums internationally. She has experience developing educational experiences, resources and programs as well as researching their impact and researching the interaction between informal and formal educational institutions.
