Dr. Wei-zhen Liang is a Research Assistant Professor in the Departments of Biological Systems Engineering (BSE) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her program focuses on the development and delivery of precision agriculture strategies to advance crop and animal food production systems' efficiency and sustainability while addressing critical environment and animal welfare needs. This unique focus evolved from her experience in cropping system and intensive agricultural animal production systems, with specific topics including application of image analysis in crop and livestock management, advanced crop and livestock modeling, and Internet of things (IoT).
